The opening event of the Timișoara's architecture biennial BETA includes a series of micro-presentations held by the organizers and their partners, as well as the vernissage of the BETA 2016 competition.

Designed as a support event, the opening event aims to highlight the importance of the Timișoara's architecture biennial BETA for its organizers – the Timiș branch of the Romanian Order of Architects – as well as for the local and euroregional context.

The presentations also constitute an opportunity to communicate the importance of collaboration in supporting the purpose of the biennial. Therefore, the biennal’s partners will have the opportunity to present the events resulted from the collaboration process.

The second part of the event is dedicated to the vernissage of the BETA 2016 competition – one of the main events of the biennial, a project that supports and promotes architecture in its various forms and manifestations.
